-- Oakdale Packing Co./South Shore Meats, Brockton, Mass., introduces its value-added line under the Oakdale Farms banner. The first two items are a Marinated Sirloin Tip and a Teriyaki Tip in 20-ounce packages with easy cooking instructions.Plans call for a line of other beef, pork and poultry items in tune with consumer needs for quick preparation times and varied flavor preferences.

-- Emmber Foods, Milwaukee, offers Emmber Lean N Tender Fat Free Deli Meats available in three varieties: Fat Free Roast Beef, Fat Free Corned Beef and Fat Free Pastrami. Product is made from USDA- inspected cuts of lean beef and company tested seasonings. Each one-half ounce contains 13 calories.

-- Knauss Snack Food Co., Timonium, Md., introduces Bull's Choice Beef Steak in four varieties-original, teriyaki, peppered and barbecue. The 1-ounce beef steaks combine an old-time smokehouse taste with spices.

-- Enjoy Foods International, Fontana, Calif., introduces Kippered Beef Steak in four varieties: old fashioned, teriyaki, hot and barbecue. Each serving has less than 80 calories and 1 gram of fat.

-- Hormel Foods Corp., Austin, Minn., offers three new versions of Mary Kitchen Hash: Fiesta, a spicy recipe with roast beef, chilis and jalapeno peppers; Sausage, a recipe seasoned with Hormel sausage; and a 99 percent Fat-Free Roast Turkey. The hash is sold in 15-ounce cans.

-- Mama Lucia Tumminello, St, Louis, offers half and half combinations of Lucia's Frozen Pizza. Different combinations feature sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese.

-- Jimmie's Food Inc., Santa Rosa, Calif., offers Pork Pot Stickers and Battered Pork Egg Rolls under the Jimmie's Asian Cuisine brand name. The microwaveable items are packaged in 9-ounce boxes. The pre-cooked and pre-browned egg rolls are sold in a 14-ounce box containing four 3.5 ounce pieces. Suggested retail price ranges from $2.49 to $2.99.

-- American Companies, Pico Rivera, Calif., developed a line of marinated Tri-Tip Steak in popular sizes. Product is frozen two to a package in a 25-pound case. Product is well-trimmed and cooks well on a flat grill or barbecue grill.

-- My Own Meals Inc., Deerfield, Ill., offers its Shelf-Stable Microwave Meals, including Beef Stew and Beef Stew for Passover, as well as Old World Stew. The kosher entrees, packaged in boxes, are marketed to adults.

-- Michelina's, Duluth, Minn., offers its Michelina's Internationals line of frozen entrees in packages with new graphics. Gravy with Egg Noodles & Swedish Meatballs is one of the varieties. Presented in a 10-ounce box, it is now identified as Michelina's Frozen International Entree. The container can be heated in a conventional or microwave oven. It retails for $1.29.

-- Knauss Snack Food Co., Timonium, Md., offers Bull's Big One Beef Sticks in 2-ounce beef and ham varieties. Also available is Bull's Choice Beef Steak in four 1-ounce varieties-original, teriyaki, peppered and barbecue.

-- Boston Market, Golden, Colo., recently launched its Boston Carver sandwiches at Boston Market stores nationwide. Boston Carver 11-ounce sandwiches feature Boston Market's Hearth Honey ham, double-sauced meat loaf, chicken and rotisserie roasted turkey breast; plus lettuce, tomato, cheese and sauces on oven-baked French white or honey wheat rolls. A Boston Carver Club sandwich, which combines Hearth Honey ham and rotisserie roasted turkey with two cheeses, is also available.

The sandwich line is being launched with television and radio advertising, promotional coupons, and in-store merchandising. The sandwiches are priced from $3.50 to $4, depending on location. The sandwiches will also be featured in daily specials.
